Decades of Design At Mark Hampton, Inc.
Alexa Hampton’s work is classic, traditional, and eclectic. Under her direction,
Mark Hampton, Inc., which was founded in 1976 by her late father, Mark Hampton,
has completed a wide range of designs for domestic and international projects,
from apartments and large residences to private airplanes and yachts. For the
past three years, she has been chosen by Architectural Digest as one of the 'AD
100,' and House Beautiful also has acknowledged her in its annual 'America’s
Best 100 Designers' list since 1999. In 2002, New York magazine named her one of
New York’s '100 Best Architects and Decorators.' In addition to interiors, Alexa
designs furniture for Hickory Chair’s Mark Hampton Collection and the recently
launched Alexa Hampton Collection. She also creates fabrics for Kravet under the
labels, Alexa Hampton for the Mark Hampton Signature Collection and Alexa
Hampton Designs. A number of these designs were featured in the fall 2005
edition of Florida Design magazine.

Palettes and Hues as Expressions of Design
The strongest and most powerful tool in interior design is the management of
color. Santiago will share his experience using this element as a tool for
successful space planning. You will easily understand the color theory and how
to break it to produce the ally required when designing unique spaces. As a
specialist in the field, he will discuss his predictions for the color trends
for 2007.
