Design industry icon David Sutherland, president of David Sutherland Showroom, announces the opening of a temporary showroom space in Suite C- 400. Though construction of the permanent showroom has been delayed by this year's tremendous hurricane activity, David Sutherland Showroom Dania is open for business on schedule.

The temporary showroom is just down the hall from the future 11,000 square foot home of high quality furniture and textiles for indoor and outdoor use as well as wall covering, lighting, rugs and accessory lines. Lines represented include John Hutton Textiles, Carolyn Ray, Galbraith & Paul, Berman Rosetti Furniture, Collection Pierre by John Hutton, Vera Za’arour Rugs, Sutherland, Perennials Outdoor Fabrics, Hutton Home Lighting, Kirtz Shutters and Heltzer, to name a few. Florida design industry veterans, Ned Hickson and Dennis Galley, announce the opening of the new Ammon Hickson Incorporated showroom located in the heart of DCOTA on the 3rd Floor of Building B. The showroom will introduce the Greystone Home Collection to the Florida market, featuring an eclectic range of product and style. From Louis XVI influenced side tables and Ruhlman's stylish 1920’s cabinetry, to elegant hand-blown Venetian chandeliers, individually crafted upholstered furniture and an exquisite range of European textiles and trimmings, the collection is unparalleled in the industry. The 6,000 square foot showroom with architecture by Arbore Design, New York, will also feature the extensive Ammon Hickson collection of exclusive fabrics and wall coverings from around the world. Hadco proudly announces the opening of their latest showroom. Hadco, the exclusive distributor for VIKING, ASKO/EUROTECH & ZEPHYR products in 17 states, will open their first VIKING Culinary Gallery at the DCOTA in early fall.

Hadco, a major distributor for premium appliances since 1972, based in Atlanta Georgia, became the distributor for Viking Products in Florida and the SE United States in April 2004. Their Florida Division, based in Orlando with a showroom & warehouse, will open their second Florida showroom at DCOTA, Building C, unit 358.

In addition, Hadco has showrooms in Atlanta, Roswell, Charlotte, Baltimore and Washington DC. This showroom will feature VIKING Indoor appliances, VIKING Outdoor appliances & SS cabinetry, Asko & Eurotech dishwashers & laundry and Zephyr Hoods featuring the Cheng Design & their new Elica series.

Hadco is very proud to be a part of DCOTA and is very excited about having a fabulous destination showroom for designers, architects, developers, builders, high-end appliance dealers and their clients in SE Florida. Specialty events will include Cooking Demonstrations, Appliance training sessions and Appliance Tastings. Their showroom will be available for special events and meetings by groups such as ASID, AIA & NKBA.

PPM Collections

PPM Collection started in April 2000 as a family company based in Dania, Florida. Principles Pilar Murphy and Paul Novitch decided to adapt traditional Italian values and apply them to a business that is changing globally and constantly. In a recent interview, Ms. Murphy stated that we believe in product that becomes a family heirloom and passes from generation to generation. All of our product is handmade produced by third and fourth generation factories in Northern Italy.

Our woods are generally walnut and cherry with inlays, antiquing, hidden draws and exceptional finishes. Furniture designed for the classic market has been around for a long time, but our factories have kicked it up a notch and concentrated on finishes and craftsmanship. We compare our vendors to the Guccis and Pradas of the world who bring our products to the next level.

PPM is expanding its showroom for the third time at the DCOTA in Dania Beach, Florida to 10,000 square feet and look forward to having a wonderful partnership with our new ownership. At the same time, PPM has acquired a new 6,000 square foot showroom in Highpoint, North Carolina at 404 N. Wren St. at the corner of Richardson and Wrenn.
