DCOTA Launches First International Trade Market

International Design Forum to feature major market speakers, presentations

DANIA BEACH, FLDesign Center of the Americas (DCOTA), the premier one-stop design source for all home interior needs, will launch its first International Trade Market on Wednesday, August 1, 2007.

Themed International Design Inspirations, this exciting one-day major market event will feature keynote presentations by Casa & Estilo International Magazine, an international design trade publication that will moderate a panel discussion, and internationally renowned interior designer Perla Lichi, Perla Lichi Design.

The day will also include an exciting full schedule of inspired showroom presentations and new product introductions all geared toward keeping design professionals on top of the latest international design trends. Also featured will be a special Art Exhibition on display from August 1^st -15^th  in the B Atrium of DCOTA.

Keynote Panel Discussions will include:

Design Around the World - presentation followed by a book signing of her latest book, You Too Deserve Beautiful Rooms.

Over the last 20 years, Perla Lichi has become a major force in both the local and international design communities. Her firm primarily specializes in high-end residential and commercial interiors for individual clients and model merchandising for new home builders and developers.  Since its founding in 1990, Perla Lichi Design has become one of the leading interior design firms in Florida, across the US and abroad. Perlas keynote presentation will give us insight into her vast amount of work with clients of different nationalities using specific examples from her work in the Middle East and around the world.  There will be a luncheon reception with book signing to follow at the Jolo Showroom, Suite C-428.
