DCOTA WINTERMARKET 2007 Awards
Ceremony Honors "Stars of Design"

DANIA BEACH, FL—Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), the
premier to the trade design resource center for all interior
design needs, inaugurates the "Stars of Design" awards
ceremony recognizing the very best in southern Florida-based
design talent.
The Stars of Design awards ceremony will be held in
conjunction with DCOTA's annual trade event, WINTERMARKET
2007, to be held on Wednesday, January 24 and Thursday,
January 25, 2007.
DCOTA's "Stars of Design" awards mirror the same award
designation held since 1994 at the Pacific Design Center in
southern California.
This year's winners feature the very best of southern
Florida’s most recognized designers in their respective
fields. All were selected by a distinguished design panel of
renowned professionals and members of the national, regional
and South Florida media. The awards ceremony will take place
on the evening of January 24 from 5:00 pm to be followed by
a reception
Recipients of the DCOTA 2007 "Stars of Design" award include
the following designers in their respective categories:
William R. Eubanks, Interior Design; Jeffery W. Smith,
Architecture; Laura Munder, Product Design; Dan Forer,
Photography; Margaret Wilesmith, Graphic Design; Mario
Nievera, Landscape Design; Jason Hagopian, Urban Design;
Romero Britto, Art; Dee Robinson, Yacht Design and the
renowned Mario Buatta, who will receive a Lifetime
Achievement award.

21st Anniversary, is the preeminent design center serving
the design professional in Florida, Latin America and the
